Cedric Alexander vs. EC3

EC3 wastes no time in chopping away in the corner. Cedric kicks him in the face and heads to the apron but a springboard is broken up. A whip into the corner sets up a flipping neckbreaker for two on Cedric and we hit the chinlock.

Cedric fights up and gets two off a sunset flip before a double clothesline gives us a double knockdown. Some right hands and an elbow to the face have EC3 in more trouble but the springboard Downward Spiral is blocked. EC3’s forward DDT gets two and he crotches Cedric on top. The top rope superplex gets two….and Cedric flips out of a belly to back suplex, setting up the Lumbar Check for the pin at 5:51.

Result: Cedric Alexander b. EC3 – Lumbar Check (5:51)

We see The Usos hosting a Memorial Day Block Party outside of the arena under a tent. EC3 looks thrilled to be there. Dana Brooke and The Lucha House Party are having fun. The Usos mention everyone is invited, except for The Revival. Drake Maverick is looking for WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth. The Usos welcome everyone.

Back from the break and we see The Revival and The Usos going at it in a game of Cornhole at the block party outside.

Carmella suddenly enters the ring from the crowd. WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth is right behind with Superstars chasing him. Eric Young rolls him up for a 2 count. Drake Maverick, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Mojo Rawley and others are trying to get their hands on Truth. Truth runs off through the crowd with Carmella on his back, Superstars chasing them.

Back from a commercial and we get another look at The Usos’ block party. They have words with The Revival when WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth runs in. Other Superstars are trying to take the title. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson take out Drake Maverick. A big brawl breaks out under the tent. Truth manages to escape with the title as other Superstars such as Robert Roode and EC3 chase him.

EC3 vs. Cedric Alexander

Cedric grabs a headlock and spins out of a wristlock counter. EC3’s headlock doesn’t work either as Cedric hits a dropkick for two so frustration can set in. One heck of a clothesline takes Cedric’s head off and we take a break. Back with Cedric fighting out of a chinlock and getting stomped down in the corner for his efforts.

An elbow to the face cuts off Cedric’s comeback attempt and EC3 gets one off a running flip neckbreaker. The front facelock goes on, followed by the EC3 Elbow, only to have Cedric get two off a small package. The springboard clothesline gives Alexander two but EC3 gets in his forward DDT for the same. Back up and Cedric grabs the Lumbar Check for the pin at 10:43.

Result: Cedric Alexander b. EC3 – Lumbar Check (10:43)

We are back and Mick Foley makes his way to the ring with the new WWE Championship. He says there is something missing from Raw. Mick says it is time that we revisit those three letters . . . R. . . A . . . W. We need to make Monday Nights raw again. For those superstars looking to step up from experience, it takes a lot to make a mark and be a champion in WWE. Titles is what you breathe, think about, covet, love, and are willing to sacrifice. That is how a legend is born. It is an obsession that consumes you throughout the day. Every single moment of every single hour. Twenty Four hours a day, seven days a week.

Mick introduces the newest title . . . the 24/7 Title. This title is to be defended anytime, any place, anywhere. You don’t have any time off with this title. As long as a referee is on the scene, there can be a match. Falls really count anywhere.

Mick puts the title down and he says starting tonight, the third hour of Raw is about to get mean and nasty and a little dirty. Starting tonight, we are going to crown our first 24/7 Champion. There will be a scramble. Mick says this title is open to every superstar on Raw, Smackdown, 205 Live, NXT, and NXT UK roster. Maybe there will be a visiting legend battling for this championship.

He who retrieves it achieves it and destiny is looking you straight in the eye.

Match Number Five: WWE 24/7 Championship Scramble

Cedric Alexander, Mojo Rawley, Titus O’Neil, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, EC3, No Way Jose, and more make their way to the ring but no one has gotten into the ring.Titus gets into the ring but Mojo with a POUNCE. Cedric with a springboard clothesline to Mjoo. Karl and Luke pull Eric Young and Cedric to the floor. Karl and Luke grab the belt together and EC3 stops him. No Way Jose punches EC3 and they both go to the floor. Drake Maverick gets in the ring and Titus stands on the belt and Titus tosses Drake over the top rope onto everyone.

Titus grabs the belt.

Winner: Titus O’Neil (New Champion)

After the match, Robert Roode rolls up Titus and gets the three count.

Winner: Robert Roode (New Champion)

Everyone chases Roode into the back.

We go to commercial.

We see Robert Roode running in the back and he hides behind some cases. Everyone else chases after Roode and go past him. Roode runs the other way.

Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin are chatting but Robert Roode bumps into them and he runs away as everyone follows Robert. Drake hobbles by as well.

Robert Roode asks for help from R Truth and he gets in the trunk of his car. Everyone asks where did Truth go and he says Roode went that way. They go the other way. Truth opens the trunk and he says they are gone. Truth kicks Roode after Roode sees a referee in the front seat. Truth sends him into the trunk and Truth gets the three count.

Titus O’Neil vs. EC3

Titus shoves him down without much effort and the overhand chops just cause pain. EC3 gets an elbow up in the corner though and it’s time to choke on the ropes, which somehow works by pulling Titus’ throat away from the ropes. The chinlock goes on, followed by a middle rope dropkick to give EC3 two. There’s the EC3 Elbow but Titus isn’t about to be suplexed. The running splash in the corner sets up the Clash of the Titus to finish EC3 at 5:35.

Result: Titus O’Neil b. EC3 – Clash of the Titus (5:35)

EC3 vs. Cedric Alexander

Cedric starts fast and takes EC3 down with a drop toehold, followed by the signature anklescissors. EC3 gets in a running clothesline in the corner and we hit the chinlock to slow things down. With that not working, EC3 hammers away at the head and goes with a seated full nelson to keep Alexander in trouble. The EC3 Elbow connects but the 1%er is escaped. Alexander’s springboard Downward Spiral gets two but he walks into the forward DDT for the same. That’s about it for EC3 though as it’s the Neuralizer into the Lumbar Check to give Alexander the pin at 5:23.

Result: Cedric Alexander b. EC3 – Lumbar Check (5:23)

EC3 vs. No Way Jose

EC3 is rather disturbed by the Conga Line. The dancing begins again after the bell with EC3’s waistlock not being much of a counter. A slam works a bit better though and it’s a Stinger Splash into a neckbreaker. The seated full nelson sets up the EC3 Elbow for two more. It’s too early for the TKO though and Jose grabs a belly to back suplex. Some clotheslines set up a high crossbody but EC3 gets in a reverse DDT to cut things off. The 1%er finishes Jose at 5:13.

Result: EC3 b. No Way Jose – 1%er (5:13)

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Colin Jost, Michael Che, Braun Strowman, Otis, Tucker, Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Ali, Titus O’Neil, Konnor, Viktor, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Andrade, Jinder Mahal, Harper, Bo Dallas, Bobby Roode, Apollo Crews, Bo Dallas, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, No Way Jose, Tyler Breeze, Chad Gable, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Shelton Benjamin, EC3

The SNL guys (Che and Jost) bail to the floor as Breeze and EC3 are both out. Shelton and Dorado are eliminated as well with Strowman throwing everyone he comes near. Harper vs. Strowman gets a big reaction but everyone piles onto them to break it up. Titus misses a charge and gets eliminated, followed by Ali tornado DDTing Jose and tossing him. Strowman gets sent into the post and goes through the ropes to the floor as Anderson is tossed.

Rhyno is out as well and the Hardys get into a mini match with Roode/Gable, with Roode being eliminated. Metalik gets thrown out by Mahal and Andrade monkey flips Kalisto out. There goes Gable as the ring is clearing out in a hurry. Tucker runs the Ascension over and there’s a double Caterpillar to both of them. The Ascension is thrown out but Strowman tosses Heavy Machinery.

Mahal is out next as Harper tries to suplex Ali, only to have Strowman kick them both out at the same time. We’re down to Strowman, Che, Jost, Matt, Jeff, Apollo and Andrade. Apollo and Andrade go to the apron and Andrade snaps off a hurricanrana to eliminate both of them in a dumb move. The Hardys try to pull Strowman out but the SNL guys come in and fail to throw them out.

Strowman shrugs them off and dumps the Hardys, leaving him alone with Jost and Che. One of them grabs a mic and says this doesn’t have to end in violence, so here’s his therapist to talk Strowman through this. Strowman beats him up and gives him a chokeslam before slapping Che out. A running boot in the corner misses and Jost goes for the elimination but gets shoved away. Strowman throws him out for the win at 10:24.

Result: Braun Strowman won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last elimination Colin Jost (10:24)
